SUPPORT SERVICE:

Comfort Home Housing Association CIC provides shared accommodation with floating support. We are committed to promoting empowerment and supporting vulnerable individuals to live independently and contribute positively to their community.

We provide a holistic support service.  We look at the individual client’s life as a whole, we do not not just look at their current and immediate crisis situation. The following are some of the support areas we have identified that we will work on with the service user.  By using these support areas efficiently and emphatically we create a support plan with the aim to help our service users to achieve their goals in life.  We aim;

  •        To enable the service user to maintain a tenancy and maintain safety in the home

  •        To provide support with one to one practical and emotional support

  •        To link with health/social care agencies, other identified stakeholders and support networks

  •        To assist with benefit entitlements and financial prudence and budgeting.

  •        To support into suitable employment, and encourage training and education to better their job prospects.

  •        To sign post for identified and specific social, cultural, religious, emotional and medical needs and activities

  • To support with and encourage appropriate, independant move on accommodation.

We now also provide specialist supported accommodation for:

  • Victims of domestic abuse

  • Female only accommodation

  • Single mothers and child accommodation

  • Transgender only accommodation

  • LGBT only accommodation
